Threemile Pond, located a few miles east of Augusta, is a major water in the Seven Mile Stream drainage. An excellent state-owned boat launch located off Route 3 provides access to the pond. Threemile Pond provides excellent habitat for warmwater gamefishes. Anglers can probe the boulder strewn shoreline and several submerged rocky shoals for smallmouth and largemouth bass. Bass fishing here is good, with many fish growing to ~xceptional size. Pickerel and white perch are abundant and provide good action for both summer and winter anglers.
